Being in America after living abroad for 10 years was interesting.
>People everywhere are driving while using their phones constantly while driving. Doing 60 on a highway, every stop light, eating/smoking/using their phone at the same time.
>Can't go to the convenient store to grab a coke or a snack without getting in the car. Convenient store is probably a 30 minute round trip walk away but due to lack of paths, construction, and aforementioned phone addicts its dangerous and would probably take 45 minutes.
>Can't go to the bar without driving / having someone to drive you back
>Confined to your home after a certain time. No night life to speak of.
>People spend hours each day in their car just to drive to work and back. Can't read a book, take a rest, or play phone games to pass the time.
shit sucks. and the number one argument will be because its dangerous to walk at night despite 40,000 people dying a year because of car related deaths in the US alone.
