Am actually intensely fascinated by the growing English flag protests in the UK. It feels, in a way, more real and more vital than any time France has ever thrown a violent shitfit. Maybe because it's explicitly tied to the culture and tradition and history of the Anglo-Saxons through its symobls, and France has never really had something like that.
Also, I think the St. George Flag is pretty appropriate here, since the dragon St. George slew was having young maidens fed to it regularly prior to his arrival. Makes the flag feel very relevant, given the grooming scandals.
