you're delusional anon, I played FF8 on release after playing FF7, and it was fucking awesome. The graphical upgrade alone was absolutely mind-boggling, not to mention how they integrated the cutscenes into gameplay.

The fact that they were willing to experiment with so many different systems and mechanics in a mainline game was admirable, and despite the very real and valid criticisms, it's a solid entry in the series and definitely worth playing.

only Real Ones know about the FF8 demo disk that came with your copy of Brave Fencer Musashi. Must've played that dollet mission demo like 50-60 times before the full game released
