I know this is a bait thread but even still both sides are retarded.
Devs need to accept that crunch is going to happen. Every job on the planet has crunch. It's really not something you can avoid and most time time it isn't that bad.
Flip side is management usually refuses to do anything to actually make crunch time easier and then starts sending out threats to anyone who refuses to work in horrible conditions or even for free.
