The main thing that scares me is that all the consoles will be carrying over their libraries with full compatibility for the future. If a new console doesn't do this, it'll be DOA. So everyone's getting locked in to one ecosystem now - right when Nintendo is absolutely dominating. We can't have a breakout hit like the xbox 360 or switch 1 again

Will nintendo return the favor to us after we all go multiplatform?
