Idk, honestly, colloquially we call purple ones “ghvinia leghvi” i.e. the wine figs.
My favourite variety is called “guda leghvi”.
“Guda” is a type of bag (made of sheepskin) that the mountaineers ferment cheeses in or create the bagpipes with. So, it’s named after that.
It’s pretty large as you can see. And you can tell that they are ripe when they start having those characteristic “stretch marks”.
