You are dumb feh secondary who blatantly doesn't understand how Fire Emblem settings work. Tellius was not created with continuity with any previous setting in mind, it's a self-contained storyline. There was no retcon. Laguz are different entities from manakete.

Completely different writers introduced potential continuity between Tellius and Archanea in Awakening many years later, but this connection is so tenuous that the actual implications of it are unknowable, i.e. the guy involved with it came from an alternate universe.
