It's both, I imagine because of Engage's constant rewrites. "Sovereign blood" (that they never elaborate on or talk about again) is needed to resurrect him, and has nothing to do with the "seal" Lumera put on him (that is also never mentioned again, or talked about at the same time as his revival).

Sumia was intended to be the Caeda to Chrom's Marth. Awakening drove the point further by putting her in both the opening cutscene and making her rescuing Chrom at that Ferox port a CG cutscene. Ultimately, the fandom rejected Sumia, and shipped Chrom with Robin. Both Robins. For once, IS actually agreed and refuses to acknowledge Sumia as Chrom's canon wife.
As a Caeda clone, Sumia is nothing like her, and as the romanticized version of Caeda that IS wants the people to think of, Sumia failed at that too. I fully expect that if Awakening ever gets a remake, Sumia will be completely downplayed and turned into another woman Chrom could fuck.

"New" doesn't mean much. When 3H was the newest, it didn't get nearly this many banners.
Engage gets so much, that in the span of 2 years it's gotten like over half of what 3H did in 6 years. And that's counting how 3H got 10 CYL winners.
When Echoes' cast flopped, IS stopped making banners of it. But Engage just keeps going.

Honestly, it's usually less.

Even ignoring the rescheduled NH banner Engage just had, 3H usually didn't get much.
Unless it was Summer, it rarely ever got seasonals. It averaged like 20 units a year, because it'd just be two NH banners (5 each, so 10), mostly a whole Summer banner (let's just say 5), like two Winter units, and two 8% units as I already laid out.
And that's in its PRIME. It doesn't get whole Summer banners anymore!

Engage is currently 1000 days old.
3H was 1000 years old in the 21st of April 2022, it had 68 units in FEH at that point if I counted correctly, of which 6 were CYL units, so 62 units that were not "forced by fans". So no, 3H did have more units, and you are just crying over nothing.
