Miyabi is also way easier overall. but Yi Xuan has a higher skill floor and more skill expression and her unique mechanic of sheer force makes her powerful in a way where she'll only become more relevant given time.
Lore wise they're basically meant to be equals in their own ways (and Shifu was offered the title of Void Hunter but declined).
