you get a choice between a macbook and a thinkpad with gLinux, and given that 95% of the work you're doing through the browser because of how Google works, it makes sense to pick the glorified web browsing toy with high battery life.
I work at Google but I'm using Firefox, DuckDuckGo, ProtonMail and I've never even touched ChromeOS.
How ethical is it to work for a company which products you don't want to use? I feel like I'm a drug dealer.
Can they somehow penalize me for that? Conflict of interest or something maybe?
