Requiring some advice since my old headphones died last night and I never got into audiotech 'tism. I have been using the same Marshall Major III ones that I bought 7 years ago.

>Budget
I was considering 100€-250€ (115 USD-290 USD) but that's not a hard limit.

>Intended use and Kind
- 80% music at home, otherwise travel or gym during which the sound quality doesn't matter to me
- but they shouldn't let too much sound escape or be too noisy from the outside
- ideally not oversized (Sennheiser HD600 from the op would be too big for my taste)
- no preference for any specific kind but it's really important that the earpads are both durable and comfortable after long continuous use and I genuinely mean "long" use there will be times during which they could be worn for more than 55h I have grown used to shifting one pad slightly off the ear, alternating between them both

>Source(s)
- ideally bluetooth but I have a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface sitting here if that helps

>Preferred tonal balance/genres
- genuinely all over the place but to narrow it down a bit, I love 80s synth pop a lot, think of 'Souvenirs' by OMD or 'Elegia'
- also a lot of prog rock, Steven Wilson/Porcupine Tree
- and harsh industrial schizo stuff for when you want to lose it after 40 hours of sleep deprivation, like death grips or kfc murder chicks

so, if somehow anyone has a rough idea what kinda headphones would elevate this sort of stuff and would also be comfortable for long wear, I'd be incredibly grateful
