These house wren (Maryland area) babies lived in a birdhouse by my porch. A day or two ago I captured this photo of them crying out for food from mom. Today they are gone! Do they look old enough to be fledglings and jump out of the nest? The bird house is hanging on our porch and it would be impossible for a raccoon or anything to reach it. I also saw bird poop on our porch today which might be a sign they were flopping around down there a bit. I just hope they got to leave the nest and didn't get snatched out by a crow or something!
