Three dudes tried to mug me a couple years ago, it was 5 am, I had a knife with me, still, I decided to run and they chased me. If I hadn't run I know that I would have 100% fought them/stabbed one of them, looking back, I would have almost certainly gotten killed by the other two either with my own knife or with a gun, that they likely had.
When I was 6 I fell down the stairs, and hit my head really bad, there was a lot of blood, and if I had fallen even just a few inches differently I would have died or would be disabled for life.

You have probably been close to death during your life, in multiple ways that you were never even aware of, just be careful next time and try to look for ways so a similar situation doesn't happen, if it's even possible.
There's people who get diagnosed with terminal disease every day, people who get killed by their loved ones, people who die in natural disasters, people who slip on a wet floor and break their neck. Death is universal.
The good thing is that you are alive, and well, that situation is in the past, value every day like if it's the last, and tell the people you care about how much they mean to you.

I don't really care for Trump, neither hate him, nor like him, but I often think about the picrelated quote. It helps me with anxiety, just sharing it with you in case it helps you put yourself into the state of mind that I'm alluding to.
