Moege are aimed at wagies, the target audience is depressed salarymen who work 16 hour days. I genuinely believe you cannot understand the appeal of moege without being a wagie. People who aren't wagies can enjoy moege, of course, but they're doing so incorrectly and don't properly understand them.
