Let's say Dialga and Palkia are tasked by Arceus to run a pizza place for eternity. Dialga's job is to make the pizza and Palkia's job is to work the register.

Suddenly, Darkrai shows up and sabotages the pizza ingredients which threatens to destroy the pizza place. Dialga goes completely insane and makes no attempt to buy new ingredients or tell anyone else to get any. Palkia just sits around and does nothing about it because "it's not my job". Eventually the place shuts down because they're not selling any food and all the customers gotta go to Pizza Hut instead.

When Arceus finds out about this, both these niggas are getting fired.
