>AFAB/AMAB is only a way to misgender trans people, we don't need these terms
>Any discrimination against a trans person is unique to being trans, not only is it ignorant to label issues we face as merely the result of "gender roles", it groups trans people with their "biological sex" (Guys sex is fluid, hormonal response is arguably more important than gonads)
>Trans women experience forms of discrimination that trans men don't, for various reasons. We need to create a line in the sand... people who are affected by trans misogyny (...trans women, open crossdressers, etc), and those who AREN'T (vagina).
I will never understand why people can't just say trans men/trans women, or afab(people born female)/amab(people born male) depending on the context.
Tme/tma is not a useful acronym. You would just address the group (trans women in 99% of discussions, as I never see people addressing GNC men and public crossdressers) and compare it to the experience of those who, aren't. You don't need another acronym to address trans women.

I get that afab/amab usage has been fucked up by lolberal doctors and use in contexts in which it is not applicable or simply untrue for trans people, but pretending that there's a better way to address people born female/male (Let's be serious, intersex people have never stopped being "talking points" in most discussions) is retarded.
