That's some reddit-tier bullshit you're slinging there, anon.
They only began assigning "names" to hurricanes in the 1950s and ONLY used female names:
> The practice of naming hurricanes solely after women came to an end in 1978 when men's and women's names were included in the Eastern North Pacific storm lists. In 1979, male and female names were included in lists for the Atlantic and Gulf of America.
But more importantly, almost ALL deaths from named hurricanes in the US came from Katrina. Katrina had 1,392 fatalities. The next deadliest was Camille (from 1969, when all hurricanes were given female names) with 343. No other hurricane since then has killed more than 180 people.
The fact that university "researchers" are just skimming Wikipedia for their feminist commie bullshit is another reason all academics should be transformed into a cubic centimeter of topsoil.
