I liked the idea of that, it's a cute reference to the detective with informants trope, but in game having to actually to to them just made me want to kill myself.

The fact that you know exactly where he plot IS, but the game forces you to divert and waddle around to another place is so fucking aggravating, I want to call this anti-game design, this game can be studied as an example of what not to do for adventure game design.
