Why do you suppose so many people are confused about VTMB2 despite all the trailers, interviews, gameplay, etc.? Reading responses online it quickly becomes obvious that most of the people talking about are profoundly ignorant and there has been a deep breakdown in communication between marketing and target audience.
>They think it's linear. (It's open world and you can go anywhere you want.)
>They think it has Fallout 4 style dialog (it doesn't).
>They think it's a walking sim (it's not).
>They think there's no Malkavian. (You play half the game as one.)
My theory is that the marketing cycle fell apart when the game was scrapped and rebooted into a completely different game.
