Listen, I do agree much of /v/ cyncism and misanthropy comes from a lingering fear of failure and shame. I think a lot of shut in become the way they are cause it's easier than to go out and admit part of life is being cringe, or made a fool or getting dsissapointed.
With that said, this is one of the few times where. no. No, the failure from this has no silver lining.
No potential lesson or experience gained from this was worth such disasterous results, especially since it was all lessons any other person could've easily seen coming via common sense.
Bad projects happen. People, like me, like to dunk on it but that's just life and you got to move on and learn.
