Back when I was drinking coffee I enjoyed coffee the most when I bought preground coffee from the grocery store and brewed it with an Aeropress. It was unironically great and I could taste the coffee all day afterwards. The more I tried to get into "real" coffee, I enjoyed coffee less, like not only was the coffee not as good but I enjoyed everything about it less and it eventually felt like a chore and I stopped drinking coffee. Currently experiencing something like that with tea. I enjoyed it the most when I first got into loose leaf and was buying Harney & Sons tea and using a cheap basket infuser to brew "western style". The more I've tried to get into "real" tea and other methods the less I enjoy it. I'm going to avoid the same mistake I made with coffee and just go back to what I actually liked. My mind is starting to associate tea with the crap I bought from China that I don't like, and with Chinese tea culture that I don't feel any relation to, and I need to stop it before it's too late.
