yotei lacks the sovl that made sushi surpass the usual ubislop despite copying most of their usual game elements. sushi's success made ubisoft seethe so hard they finally gave in to asscreed fan demands and announced their own asscreed japan game, which they tanked with the black protagonist. yotei could have been cool if they'd focused more on atmosphere and writing a compelling story rather than the wokeness. if it kills the asscreed japan game, it'll kill your japan game, too.
