The arcade episode wasn't the strongest, but we have only seen Lily's friends in this gamer context and in flashbacks.
I think they kind of complement each other.
And maybe they get more screentime with better characterization.

Jack is fine. He's smart, competent, and self-reliant, but can also be a bit boring.
I enjoy Lily's antics and insecurities much more.
But my personal favorite character in Minju.
