What's the best way to do a JRPG-like thing but not go full Exalted? Is it just Mage but force the party into a Paradigm that's Wuxia-lite? I was thinking Sorcerer since it would focus more on them basically buffing and preparing spells ahead of time for fights and not run the same "It's True Magic I ain't gotta explain shit" deal with Mage, but that just feels like it would be far too limited and end up more like something akin to Witcher where you're just a guy+ instead of being definitely a step above. I'm just not sure how to, mmm, curate Mage the best.
