>You're wasting physical space in the cartridge slot that could've gone to an actual cart with data on it
>You're wasting digital space by having to install the actual data
>If you somehow lose the cart you are locked out of accessing the game that's installed to your console
>The majority of third party developers have insisted on releasing game key cards due to Nintendo's incompetence, so nearly all of the heavy hitters launch year are digital only
>You cannot use 1.0 revisions of certain games, as it'll always download the most recent version
>90% of the game key card releases would've been normal releases on Switch 1 if it was powerful enough to run them, or already are fully physical on Switch 1 (Sonic Racing Crossworlds, DragonBall Sparking Zero)
>It's not worth going to a store to buy a digital download when I can just buy the digital version
I'm not going to argue the "servers will go down" point, it's been said a million times including this thread, but I don't see how any of this is a positive. I own around 110 Switch 1 games physically, as my digital games take up well over 500gb worth of data. I shouldn't have to buy a physical copy of a game to waste more digital storage, so I have to buy more express micro sd's. Yes, you can resell the key cards, but reselling something should never be a SELLING POINT. If you care so much about reselling, then beg Nintendo for a refund system.
