C-dramas focus way too much on romance. The sad part is, it's all lazy romance—they don't even try to innovate.
Don't get me wrong, Chinese girls are very pretty. I don't know if it's just Chinese shows, but they seem to try too hard to have both a male and female lead. Just pick one and let them be the focus.
