You don't need to read dirtsheets to have known Mercedes dragged her heels for as long as she could before finally signing with AEW. She was sat in the crowd at All In 2023 which was August. She didn't debut until 7-8 months later. She tried to use that as leverage to get WWE to bite. Once she realized they weren't going to she had no choice but to go to AEW. Meanwhile Blake Monroe had AEW offering the world to keep her as well as a big offer from WWE as well. Something Mercedes could only dream of.
