Man, it was so nice to see Stormy actually be GOOD at something, better than all the Winx, better than Icy even and have a blast doing it.

I wouldn't be averse to some deeper Trix lore like how did they gattai that one time and never again? What the fuck were the vacuums, how did they get them and why did they only use them like once after Season 1? and I'm not against them being sympathetic at times, but I like them as the mortal enemies of the Winx and the idea (kinda hinted at several times, I think) that in the end you can forget Valtor, Darkar or any of these other big bads because ultimately the Trix WILL become a much greater threat than any of them ever were and that's what the Winx have really been training all this time for. The idea Icy had been hiding this secret sadness and vulnerability all through 7 seasons of sadism was a bit much for me to swallow.
