EGO is born from your current state of being, and aspirations or whatever. We've not seen an EGO user live long enough to see if they can change with time. But I assume that as long as you maintain the mindset that spawned the EGO in the first place, it won't change, but if you change your mind about your goals along the way, without succumbing to despair maybe you'd lose the EGO, and would require another epiphany to gain it again to it aligns with new goals.
No real way to know unless we get an EGO user that changes mindsets at some point, or lives a long ass time and shows up again. Depends on how hard the goal shifts too, since a lot of EGO can be rather open ended.

Or something like that. We would need someone to just have a complete shift in their goals, and not just parts of it, like Yuria suddenly not wanting to work with workshops anymore. Does that mean her teddies shift production to something else, or does she lose the entire EGO?
