Cute art... Do you have more translated twitter kino?
I honestly view Localization as inherently negative by the virtue of changing the source material to fit western minds, it's almost always localized to strictly American audience rather than a general translation in the English language. VNs are known to have an ingame dictionary for the Japanese culture anyways, only for next gen VNs to ditch that entirely and not only write a bad translation, but worsen it by making unnecessary changes so the foreign mind can accept it. It's just... annoying. I wish I could learn proficient Japanese already, I've been stuck in the beginner stages for years.
>"what are *you* doing?"
That... makes an awful lot of sense, I remember Ibuki or someone else bringing up that truth point to say that's an extremely weird thing to say and there must've been a reason. Ditching the pronoun in a sentence is just... It's so... Actual reserve course losers worked on these games's translation.
>though Kamukura's on the boat is terrible.
...That's awfully interesting. I've always thought of that scene as one of his best moments, may you please elaborate?
>Honestly, I feel the quality of ao3 fics plummeted post-DR3.
Tsk, tsk. If you were a true SHSL Fanfiction Reader you'd know that the DR fanfictions posted in the early 10s are the real kino. I've read genuinely good Kamukoma fanfiction set in the despair era before UDG even released, it's a bit insane.
>Re: re: re: re: fanfics
Thank you! Maybe I'll read them later.
>"not the type of characters to be romantically involved without strings attached/an unhealthy relationship".
Oh... wasn't that the topic in the first place? I mean, it's too boring to read a fanfiction or a doujinshi where they live happily ever after and get married and adopt 5 kids or something, ew. I like the drama and angst and abuse, I love the codependency.
