People don't use Linux (or as I've recently to calling it, GNU plus Linux) because it doesn't have ease of use like MacOS or Windows. Solution:
-Make a distro copying MacOS ease of use/Apple philosophy
-Tuck away the terminal, only make it necessary for power users

I don't think this already exist, and one of the reason is egos in FOSS community, each distros have to have its own unique twist instead of copying proven OSes.

Fuck no, at least not actively consuming content. If you're producing content, post it then leave. Social media hijacks your dopamine with endless variable-reward scrolls. Engineers from Stanford’s Persuasive Tech Lab literally design slot-machine loops to keep you hooked. They A/B test every pixel to maximize attention theft while you doomscroll perfect lives in 15-second bursts, triggering shame spirals. They're basically PSYOPs.

This. AES is the most studied cicpher in the world. You are almost infinitely more likely to be compromised by bad OPSEC than AES itself.

Provide something better.
That's always the only solution.

Want people to stop using Windows?
Make a better foss OS.

Want people to stop using PS?
Make a better free raster editing program.

You can't just sway people out of ideology alone.
Unfortunately the foss and small scale tech communities are too retarded, often caught up in pointless internal conflicts (see Wayland vs X11, Gnome vs KDE vs whatever DE, etc...), garbage optics, terrible user experience, dramatic activism, and more.
Goethe making fun of /us/ 200 years ago
Now I’ve done Philosophy,
I’ve finished Law and Medicine,
And sadly even Theology:
Taken fierce pains, from end to end.
Now here I am, a fool for sure!
No wiser than I was before:
Master, Doctor’s what they call me, 360
And I’ve been ten years, already,
Crosswise, arcing, to and fro,
Leading my students by the nose,
And see that we can know - nothing!
It almost sets my heart burning.
I’m cleverer than all these teachers,
Doctors, Masters, scribes, preachers:
I’m not plagued by doubt or scruple,
Scared by neither Hell nor Devil –
Instead all Joy is snatched away,
What’s worth knowing, I can’t say
Compt again
