like a 2 so far? there's a lesbian character and a tranny actor, but those facts are not dwelled on at all and have no relevance to the plot or comedy. there might be a lesbian wedding later in the series but by modern standards it's pretty tame.

chuds are so fragile kek
it's literally like a 2 second appearance of a tranny and an offhand mention of lesbians, 99% of the show has nothing to do with it at all. does being reminded of the existence of gay people in passing really shatter your reality?

The old guy with the bubbles sabotaged the chair for being put oover for promotion, there is a quick glimpse of a photo in the first episode where he is death staring Tim, no I won't post it
>>215398920
Who the fuck is the tranny actor. So far it seems like a 1 to me with everything "woke" being a joke.
I am drunk when I watch this shit tho.

It's a great show but this board has an inexplicable hate boner for Tim Robinson because they're too miserable and contrarian to enjoy anything and have to make shit up like that he's a jew (he's not) just to have some excuse to be in an outrage over everything all of the time.
>>215399221
It turns out to be a big nothing. The guy behind the chair company ends up being just like Tim Robinson's character, a guy who goes way too far and overreacts.
He's afraid of losing his job and is going overboard trying to avoid any responsibility.

I just donโt like forced narratives in what I watch.
You enjoy it though Iโm sure youโre ok with a little pedo shit too as long as itโs just a hint of it.
>comedy >isn't funny
i didnt genuinely laugh once for the entirety of the first episode and turned off the second halfway through since i hadn't laughed by that point either. If this is the best show of the year then TV is dead

i love this show. the scene where the italian guy puts on the crazy podcast had me rolling. also the scene where he leaves the assistant in the road after her car crash.

Ep 2 wasn't as good as ep 1, but that's okay. Like his fat secretary. I hate the lesbian daughter and I really hate her marrying some disgusting pig.
>>215401650 >I watched Friendship and it was terrible.
I agree. When Tim Robinson went into Paul Rudd's house and start washing dishes and playing with his gun I lost interest. It was just "cringe guy doing unrealistically cringe things"
>>215398753
I mean itโs Tim Robinson, so you know itโs more of his usually pro-tranny hiring woke trash. I heard everytime he gets a show in his list of demands is that the network employee at least 20 trans and other lgbtfags to work on his show lol what a woketard I bet he drinks that rainbow can beer that the new norm hates so much
Tim Robinson just does "weird" things and expects the audience to think that something being weird is funny in itself. Then he talks like a retard and eventually screams some random line on repeat while doing a voice and calls it comedy. I imagine people that like him also enjoy Letterkenny and Shoresy. It lets me know you are not funny at all when you tell me you like any of these things.

Yeah like that. Every sketch can be whittled down to a simple line that really isn't inherently funny. This guy also seems to be pushed quite heavily. I imagine he only became relevant because of tiktok

when 4chan seethes about the lesbian wedding subplot they're conveniently ignoring that the venue is literally a haunted house, and it's going to be played off for pure cinematic kino while Tim Robinson is hitting peak schizo
>>215402232
The issue is Tim Robinson cannot break being Tim Robinson. He doesn't become a part, he's just Tim Robinson in the show. He is a bit better in this than he has been in other shows at breaking it but it also feels like he's sat down at a script meeting going >Now how can I do something that everybody knows me for in this scene just to remind everybody I am Tim Robinson and not an actor playing a part that isn't Tim Robinson
I am enjoying the show though.
I think my biggest problem with the show is that it seems like the setup is an understandable slightly neurotic guy who gets unraveled by the chair conspiracy but then Tim Robinson from the start is just a full throttle I Think You Should Leave skit character interrogating waitresses over whether they've been to malls before

this is garbage can we get actualy comedy shows and movies back instead of this "haha look at this uncomfortable social situation and cringe and now he yells! woah much jokes insane humor!" trash
its insane how shit this and most modern comedys are compared to even average comedy from the 80s 90s like hot shots, ace ventura, scary movie. literally non stop onslaught of constant jokes that work.
now we have "hurr durr awkward social situation" sold as humor fucking hell.

It's pretty woke. There's been an obvious tranny, a possible tranny, a prominent lesbian couple, a black girlboss, and tons of minority background characters. So I'd say like 8/10.
