Mortar attacks are generally not great for killing grown men, but they ARE great for wounding them with shrapnel injuries. Plus, they are excellent for traumatizing and compounding the pre-existing PTSD/CPTSD that basically every IDF combat soldier has in spades at this point.

Think about all those already multi-traumatized IDF soldiers, sitting around on a "safe" base on the perimeter of Gaza, far away from any big city or refugee camp. And all of a sudden, huge explosions all around them and shrapnel everywhere, and they're all ducking for cover and screaming and crying and pissing and shitting themselves like they always do even when they're safe in their childhood bed at home, 80 miles away from Gaza on their breaks.
I hope you bros have some idea of the psychological torture effect these new mortars will have on IDF soldiers anywhere and everywhere in Gaza, forever, until they run away screaming and pissing and shitting and farting.
Drone grenade drops are also good for this psychological/PTSD effect too, obviously. Lots of shrapnel injuries, PTSD reactions, and debilitating mental health that makes every IDF soldier utterly incompetent and zombie like.
