I go back to the same thing. If you don't know mexican lucha libre, and if you don't know more mexican luchadores than Vikingo, obviously you're going to be surprised and think he's great (but nope).

Here in Mexico neither Vikingo, nor Mr Iguana, nor Psycho Clown are really loved. Those 3 who WWE/AAA want to sell you as 'our biggest stars' here in Mexico have been despised by most people for a long time because here many things are valued more than simple jumps or puppet jokes.

Do you find it incredible that Kenny Omega or Meltzer could be ignorant and wrong? That's because you don't know about mexican wrestling/lucha. And that's okay, it's not your obligation, I'm just trying to say open your mind and understand that the words of two famous people are NOT necessarily true. Otherwise, why do you think people in Mexico would be booing Vikingo so loudly? Just because we want Alberto to return to WWE? This was already explained in depth in another thread:

Don't swallow the narratives that some people want to sell you so easly. In Mexico there are a lot of luchadores infinitely superior to Shitkingo.
