i always found that really fascinating, not counting the guest characters like chao and maybe nightmare she's the only human in this cast of colorful creatures and the game after her introduction we see a frozen over earth where the inhabitants left. it's pretty neat and isn't shoved in your face. i kind of hope humans never actually show up in the series cause i really like her being this weird fucking anomaly that ends up making her just as weird as the pink blobs and walruses that can shit ice blocks.
