I don't think so, because races are pretty short, and the nature of City Trial means there's no one build that's better than the others.
There is the option of minmaxing your build and special for a specific minigame, though, which is probably why there's still the chance of throwing everyone into the same one.

Not directly confirmed but the lighting and environment models feel basically identical to Ult's in what they've shown, just at a much larger scale rather than being restrained to a single screen for the most part.

I like both myself, though in terms of Ult being washed out, I forget where exactly the quote came from (maybe one of his videos?) but I think Sakurai did say the desaturation was used as a tool to help in having characters from all different sorts of games feel like they properly "belonged" next too each other, so desaturating characters like Pikachu, but saturating a few of the more "realistic" ones like Snake, to make sure everyone was closer to each other in terms of the color range. I get not liking it but I'm fine with it personally.

Yeah it's not a perfect comparison even if Goku is the classic example. I would compare Kirby to Arale but Arale is genuinely too dumb to even understand what's she's doing most of the time, while Kirby is clever enough to understand his actions and their consequences.
Kind of a random example but maybe Kirby is somewhat closer to something like Inuyasha? Inuyasha doesn't really have any personal goals other than chill, and is only forced to act because bad guys are constantly showing up and harass him and his friends.

In terms of value star crossed world seems the best out of all of them, 20$ with some amount of that being for graphical upgrade and the rest for the actual content. My fear is booting this up with my 100% file, each world has 2 10 minute starry stages each and then you fight a new lore final boss for $20 in about an hour and a half. I really hope this has meat like that splatoon octo expansion did. They said in the trailer it expands upon the base game and adds a new story (starry worlds) so, I don't know if they're holding back or not.

adeleine being there does have an explanation though, 64 manual says she came to pop star to study art, so she's probably some planet hopper of some sort. as for how she got there, i just think warp stars are just a common thing in the universe and are basically a galaxy wide taxi service, all the ones that are in the games are just parked aside from kirby calling in one in 64.

Eh, I disagree. Leaving things in complete mystery without any resolutions at all is even more boring than solving everything instantly. There are already too many mysteries in the series so I can see at least some stuff being answered along the way, since there is always going to be something else unsolved.

I get both sides, I was fine with Adeleine staying a mysterious alien friend since the important thing is that she's a friend, being human is incidental as far as Pop Star is concerned. But on the other hand there is the Shiver Star mystery, they've been setting up the Ancients slowly since RtDL, and with FL it's starting to look like they were probably humans. If that's true, and if they want to go into where their descendants are now, they could use Adeleine to bridge the gap between them and Kirby since she's already part of both worlds. And if they do that I hope Magolor is included in the adventure too.

The weird thing is that HAL isn't REALLY the one doing this. It's more like they did a reset on the character in K64 and basically ignored that she was ever in KDL3 (save for unnamed appearances in Triple Deluxe keychains). The only sources that draw direct attention to it are third-party sources, notably the licensed Shogakukan and Kadokawa books.

I've always liked to imagine that Meta Knight's entire role in Adventure/NiDL, technically small though it was, was one big gambit to see if Kirby was worthy of taking on Nightmare. Very rarely do we see him not pull his punches for the sake of honor (or keeping his mask intact), but his fight there was the one that felt most like a "test" as opposed to a real boss.
It wouldn't surprise me if he actively wanted Nightmare unleashed so that he could be dealt with in a more permanent way, rather than Dedede's band-aid solution of splitting the Star Rod into pieces. That feels in-line with the way he tends to feel about things.
