Tends of millions is nothing to Microsoft. It has to be hundreds for them to even notice it, or preferably in the billions. At least it could be a massive inconvenience if they have to actually reinstate all old Mojang accounts (and maybe even the Minecraft accounts before that), and it's probably going to mean a lot of bad PR. The best we can hope for is a new precedence that states that you can't revoke someone's account if they don't agree to an update to the EULA/ToS. That could actually be fucking massive, since everyone's doing that currently - Blizzard, EA, Ubisoft, Adobe, etc. Imagine being able to decline an update and still be able to keep playing your game or using your software on the current version
