this board revolves around e-celeb cancer. Jobst was disliked because he has tons of popular videos calling out people for being liars, but himself lied about the lawsuit he was involved in. People fucking hate hypocrites more than anything. Billy did win his lawsuit, but Karl declared bankruptcy and the funds he received were donated separately. As a result Billy effectively lost money because he cannot capture the value of the legal fees, while Jobst got away scot-free. This is my understanding of the drama, though I am sure parts of it are not entirely correct, I don't care enough to lose 2+ hours of my life verifying for sure.

Based on what I've read, it sounds like two annoying people have lost out. Billy Mitchell is a charlatan and an unequivocal vexatious litigant, meanwhile Jobst's constant crusades against Mitchell and insistence he is on some moral crusade are cringe-inducing at the best of times. Jobst absolutely should not have been able to escape having to pay for Mitchell's legal fees in the way that he did, and the fact he can do so is an extreme injustice. At the same time, Mitchell is a massive cocksucker so he deserved it. All around, I think this falls under NOT FUCKING VIDEOGAMES
