that doesn't exist, what happens is craters form and people make up a story. when you look up all the meteor impacts from "rocks in the sky" it's always the exact same type of creater. the "falling rock" always comes from directly above, never at an angle, its always a perfect circle

theres no skid marks from a meteor coming in at a 45 degrees angle leading up to where it stopped.. EVER. it's like if you were above a pit of mud and dropped a billiards ball into it. there has never been a "meteor impact" on earth in history that doesn't look like my related pic. this could be caused for other reasons. note that the "meteor always disintegrated completely so there were no signs of it" while it simultaneously obviously existed as a physical thing large enough to make the crater.. it just doesn't make sense. like if this rock flew in from some other place you would expect at least a couple times for the rock to remain intact

what happened there is they found a way to make big holes (probably using explosions or collapsing caves which only the elite have known about for a LONG time) and then they wrote a story about how its from meteors and taught the world that one leads to the other. its just not true, it just "sounds plausible enough" so we all accept it when we hear about it
