The idea that people just die and nothing happens has never sat right with me, but neither has the idea of some eternal afterlife where you go there and you’re either tortured forever or in ecstasy forever. I like to believe that when you die, you simply wake up as a new person, and when you die as them, it repeats. People like to say that the world is a shitty place but despite that I actually think life itself isn’t so bad. I wouldn’t be bothered if the “afterlife” was just being reincarnated for eternity.
