You're assuming that's the real office, and not a copy of it like Caine was trying to recreate in episode 1.

I do find something interesting in this line of thought, though. So we can assume that given they said they liked checking out abandoned buildings, Zooble and Pomni were probably urban explorers checking out the C&A building and put on the headset. Maybe Jax too, but idk. We can probably assume Kinger was part of the original team, but that leaves Ragatha and Gangle.

If we assume the point they entered the circus corresponds linearly with real world time to some degree (ie, they entered into the game the same order in the real world they did in the game, no reason not to assume this), then Kinger and his wife were part of the initial group, Ragatha entered sometime after this, Jax was most likely after her, Gangle and Zooble showed up after that, unclear timeline, and then Pomni. So the building was probably operational when Kinger entered, and long abandoned by the time Pomni entered.

And it's likely when Pomni went in, she actually recorded her trip. These feel like significant details but I don't know what it all means just yet. I guess it's just a good idea to keep all this in mind.
