I'm sorry but the line of Jax explaining that no one actually understanding his pain and that he's actually a mastermind who finds joy in everyone's pain is pissed me off so much.
The start of episode was excellent, kinger my king was wonderful as always, ragatha and pomni were pretty good. Heck gangle and zooble were very sweet together, and had great actions scenes.
But Jax's breakdown reminded me of Squidward crying in a bathroom after getting yelled at shitpost meme. Like I had neutral opinion about him before, but after his lines from this episode made him worse slightly. Like, he assume of people around him so much without knowing Anything about them at all. He claims everyone is bad and not understanding, yet he never tried to open and talk to others in first place. And I know people would say that he's scared if he gets attached, he'd grief when they abstract and blah blah blah. Pomni was right calling him coward and beating his ass up. No wonder no one wanted to be in his team at first.

This series started to decline a little at around ep. 4 but this episode right now is a real drop off from what it had going from episodes 1-3. Why should Ragatha even feel guilt or stressed out for hating Jax and I guess somewhat referencing his abstracted friend. There's also the fact that once again Ragatha is feeling hopeless/sad about Pomni plotline that is frankly over the top and I honestly don't think Ragatha really needs to feel so attached to Pomni as the show is trying so hard to portray, seriously. Jax is a straight up detestable guy and no amount of fleshing out or making me feel bad for him is going to change that. I wish he was just a regular asshole either with or without Schizo Personality Disorder that while can get attached to people somewhat he still relishes in being a jerk to people and causing pain as well. So the building was probably operational when Kinger entered, and long abandoned by the time Pomni entered.

And it's likely when Pomni went in, she actually recorded her trip. These feel like significant details but I don't know what it all means just yet. I guess it's just a good idea to keep all this in mind.

Caine not censoring 'ass' but Pomni being censored made it seem like only Caine is able to get away with whatever he wants. One thing that bothers me about the protagonist (Pomni) is that she never expressed curiosity about how the rest of the cast entered the Circus. Okay, I understand that the memories of the cast before the Circus are fuzzy and therefore not much information can be taken... but the problem (from a narrative standpoint) is that we're never explicitly shown how 'blurry' their memory is. Do they remember almost nothing except for some fragments? Do they retain a large part of their memory but with some holes? Something in between? When you think about it, Pomni was just completely in the wrong here. When she unilaterally decided on the betrayal narrative and Jax didn't care to make it deeper, she should've said "well, alright then, ggs", shot him, and concluded the adventure. She wanted an actor to keep acting when he thought the scene had concluded. Storytelling is a mutual act, and respecting your partner is important.
