Probably want to rush permit a few ranks. You'll eventually unlock boss rush stages that give random weapon drops. All you've got to do is kill at least the first 5 of these to get the blazer, up through Keller, and then sweep x6 everyday. Bertha and Mann on the next stage are pretty easy to get early kills on too and they drop even more event credits.
