The point is they can skim through the early part but the endgame is still difficult. Like who want to spend 50 energy to sweep lvl 40 weapon stage or have to do A/S rank front tier trial to level up their mechs. JP/TW players can sweep these stages to level up to max level which is 60 and farm level 60 weapons. Also endgame highest difficulty contents are level 70 so they still have to use their brains to do it.

I want a Getter collab if only so it can finally be pried from Iron Saga's/Gameduchy's cold dead hands.

Allowing global to auto every story, every event, and every early content is a bad idea because this game is designed to be challenging but satisfactory at every level. If they allow you to access endgame stuff right away, you won't be able to enjoy 75% of the content because you'd be auto-ing through everything. You'd destroy the helicopter first try. You'd destroy the ships first try. You'd destroy the barracks first try. And let me tell you being able to finally get the "good ending" of every scenario after trying multiple times felt really good. You're too focused on your "account progression" (a.k.a numbers go up) even though the point of this game is having fun overcoming challenges.

Eileen is very dupe-dependent. At 0 dupe, she doesn't have enough power to carry 2 rocket launchers and you need to power mod to do it. At 3 dupes, her passive lower the weights and she can use 2 launchers without mods. Malthus also need to be rainbow for its unique mod. You need to save for 7 pities minimum

She is the best or second best tactician and her kit is unique without an alternative so even f2p should pull her. All the green border pilots in that pic is top tier meta units so they are good for everyone. It's just that the difference between 0 dupe and 3 dupes are huge. Without dupes, she is at half strength and need a team to work with and probably some skills to control the AI movement.

Have you played any of the Front Mission games? At one point in development this was a FM game so the strategy mechanics are on point. Campaign has been interesting, main characters are all likable, dialogue is very concise, no shortage of challenge maps, and customizing mechs will always be satisfying. Idk it's just a good game. I've had a lot of fun with it so far

It is a legitimate game on mobile that happens to have some gacha elements bolted on but it was not made from the ground up as a gacha with a game bolted on. It could be a stand alone Front Mission title (which it was). Also there is none of that retarded base building shit where you have to baby sit the shit out of it and boost contruction times and all that other "free game" shit that makes it insufferable to play without dishing out serious cash or waiting forever for progress. There is an energy based limiter but if you are popping on through out the day you can pretty much get all the rewards without spending any extra money.

tl dr; It is an actual game not a gacha mecha reskin.

Best you can do is try to max out your pilots and parts and bum rush him. Beyond those 2 STs that spawn on the left ignore that side. You're not likely to get the 'every one survive' and
kill will' in the same run but if you zerg him hard enough and ignore the left flank and his 3 body guards. You should have enough umph to tag him.

I'm at the end of chapter 5 the main cast fought against Obsidian corps to rescue captured Sylvie but instead of thanking Kaidan and GKD for risking their lives, she refused to thank them because "her own suffering is worse". She then used GKD for her own personal vendetta against some rando Obsidian henchman who was mean to her once, and the worst one she accused Kaidan of betraying her because he enlisted the help of Naomi and Arnold (UNCS) to rescue her, and refused his explanation.

Thinking of swapping out kaiden for catherine. She seems to have the same damage, re-atk, broken part, movement as kai but with the optional 3 tile sweep and chase down. Which seems a lot more handle then 1 random extra .3 dmg melee if I happen to be standing next to someone.

kaiden's guaranteed arm hit lets you fuck over two-handers and then your team ignores it and focuses on more threatening mechs
there's also the "one npc plinks catherine so now she runs in and continues a cycle of getting into deeper shit"
kaidan's more versatile as you can also swap a melee weapon for a shield or a shotgun for a MG, wheras cath will always use a polearm and get fucked if one arm breaks
that said, i do use catherine with glasyna over kaiden
i use her 2ap to guarantee break parts and her 3ap lifesteal
her aoe chop is situational depending on map

I used catherine a lot at the start but kaidan seems better rounded because of shotgun + melee on two arms. Catherine pretty much becomes useless when she loses either arm(pretty common with the amount of assault weapon enemies in game) and it becomes a wasted turn for her if you cant heal her. Since you cant really control her passive she usually gets pulled too far away from a healer.

Is Glasya worth rolling for if I don't have Frida or Hong? I might even skip Sylvie because she's such a cunt to us in the story. Naomi because of her double hit missiles and frida if she has double shotgun, you can use her aoe to disable guard so your team can shoot the squishies first instead of her only being able to ignore guard with her talent
Sylvie also has a skill to disable guard but if she doesnt break the shield her turn is basically wasted when you want her to get two shots off at least.
I think polearms are also good for deleting shields with the chop skill, also melees ignore guard.
Knuckles/pilebunker doesnt seem strong enough to delete the shields in one skill using kaidan, not sure if hong can do that better.

I did lvl 40 conflict and only get cosmetic shop ticket from stage 4 chest. For the first 3 stage, I did max diff on the first 2 and second highest diff on the last one and got 3k ticket total. Chinks always do this in their games but it's always more apparent in SRPG such as this. Sword of Convallaria for example started with units that can only have three skills but not even a year in they let one skill branch out into three, four skills with independent cooldowns meaning new units will have seven skills.
It's a result of smaller games not being able to sell characters through story/gameplay alone, so they need to put constant powercreep to make quick bucks from whales. They also tend to make skimpy gooner outfits down the line which isn't a bad thing in isolation, but it's a symptom of a larger problem especially when they don't always fit the in-game theme and distracts from the gritty main plot. Basically they're going for short term profits to keep the game afloat.
Eventually this model won't be able to sustain itself because players get tired of powercreep and the game eventually dies. It's even worse in games with release gap between global and CN because we're permanently behind; bound to see endless story spoilers, powercreep that makes current units worthless, while being gatekept from future content including new collabs and QoLs.

On right side have seven and pochy will tank a missile so your dps units wont get hit. And also have naomi slotted with missile + rocket to hit them both.
If you move your units parallel to them one tile below after deployment the missilers should also move to the edge of the water where youre sniper units should be able to snipe off their weapons next turn.

There's also a beginner banner that you get to reset until you get what you want out of a few different guaranteed S-rank pilots. Frida or Melissa are the best choices from that one but if you're autistic enough you can also reroll it until you get a lot of A-rank characters.

Keep in mind that the steam account is standalone from phone or pc client so I'd recommend their own client instead if you care about being able to do stuff on phone (I also don't think you can reroll on Steam)
