I just don't get what's taking so long. I'm not trying to dunning Krugerly criticize something I cannot do professionally, but the whole situation really makes no sense. Companies used to pump these games out in a few years. Bethesda is bigger than ever, infinite budgets, thousands of employees. Doesn't that mean it should get done faster? The incentive structures only point one way. ES6 would print infinite money. Nothing make any sense. 20 years is an irrational amount of time to wait for a fucking video game. Does ES6 even exist? Is Bethesda just a money laundering front? I must assume the project is moving so slowly(how!) that the company has scrapped it entirely and restarted production due to the changing culture/market and now they're stuck in an infinite indecision feedback loop and ES6 is never coming out. It's the only thing that makes sense logically.
