From feedback I've heard, it's a bit black and white. Either your Lgs has decent-sized group, or it's non-existent. Personally, of the 4 Lgs I visit, 3 still have a regular Lorcana night. It's a fun approachable game , and unlike most MtG tables I see, has a healthy mix of men and women of wildly varying ages (I've challenged grannies and 12 year olds at the same table, all in good fun). Naturally, there will always be a core contingent of tryhard ex-MtG players (which I guess you could categorize me as, but I don't take winning too seriously), and they're the ones that generally go to the more serious tournaments rather than the casual League nights.

You know what else generally gets buried? The Black Cauldron. Weirdly enough, after the set that comes out in a few weeks (featuring The Goofy Movie and a few Dumbo cards), there's supposed to be a set coming out near the end of the year with The Black Cauldron and Gargoyles. Maybe there's hope for Song of the South yet.
