The Nova has a polymer covered receiver. See xray pic. Semi Benellis and Mossbergs use aluminum receivers, which is why the 870 is still GOAT. My gunsmith broke his drill press trying to tap the receiver (that’s what she said). Can’t beat a used 870 Police.
