As in, some environments are just ripped straight up from 3.5 with minor edits, and this is because they kept continuity with the design of Spencer's mansion for whatever reason. In particular, I recall one 3.5 trailer had Leon walking down some outdoor stairs- those are in Lost in Nightmares, in the later portions of the game (most of the early stuff is original to the DLC to replicate RE1).
