So far, 18 shinies. I'm still on R102.
Surskit, Gothita, and Tympole are 10% encounter rates. Funnily enough, so is Ralts.
Even in an Emerald hack, it appears that Ralts is still a hard shiny to track down. It's the last of the basic Pokemon grass encounters I have for the route too.
Bidoof, Lotad, and Seedot are 20%.
The Blitzle was a surprise shiny on R103, which I had acquired within my first 10 minutes of playing after nabbing Treecko just to see what was on R103.
Overall, I'm way over odds for a Ralts encounter. I still have some fishing to do too, as there are apparently Goldeen and Corphish I can reel in with the old rod. There's also honey encounters for Audino, as well as the 2nd stage evolutionary counterparts of 3 of the Pokemon I've already caught. I can't surf and have no better rod so the rest of the encounters are n/a at this time.
I did go back to R101 to take a break from 102 and went 3000+ encounters without seeing anything, which encouraged me to go back to 102 to try and finish the grass encounters, and I went roughly 700 more encounters before finding my 2nd Gothita.

At this rate, I am considering a full dex containing all evolution stages. God knows I'm going to have most of them.
