Yep, that was aim assist. Modern cheats are not the 100% to the head aimbot from the olden days. They try and make it look realistic. I suggest you avoid BF6 since it is already filled with cheater. Go buy old shooters from GOG. Play them in multiplayer with your friends trough virtual LAN.
